More About the Event
Organised by Maharshi Sandipani Rashtriya Veda Vidya Pratishthan & People for Dharma
Historically, Ananthapuri (Trivandrum) has occupied a unique position in our Nation's tradition of Vedic practice. The "Murajapam" (Systematic recital of Vedas) held every six years at Sree Padmanabha Swamy Temple is only a part of that proud tradition. If the Vedic tradition of Ananthapuri can be restored even on a small scale, it will surely play a big role in the preservation of our culture.
As a mark of beginning of continuous activities in this direction, we are pleased to announce that a grand Vedic Conference titled "Ananthapuri Veda Sammelanam" will be staged in the precincts of Fort around Sree Padmanabha Swamy Temple, Trivandrum during the first fortnight of January 2023.
The Veda Jyothi Prayanam & Inaugural Ceremony of Ananthapuri Veda Sammelanam 2023 is scheduled on Thursday, the 5th of January 2023. Recital of Vedas, Academic Sessions, Paper Presentations, Interactive Sessions & Cultural programs will be held on 6th, 7th and 8th of January 2023.
